Briefly, my personal history includes several paths taken and abandoned as a college undergraduate. My route to what has become my life pursuit began in the ceramics studio at the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee. I found myself spending all of my time there with the help of a couple of grad students who taught me how to sneak in after hours. Ultimately I attended and received an MFA degree from Cranbrook Academy of Art outside of Detroit, MI.

While detouring into the job market for several periods post graduation, I remained focused on my dream, making a life as a self-employed potter/artist. Since the early 1980's that is what I've done.

These pieces represent my current state-of-the-art. Ideally, I would hope that this too may continue to evolve in the future. Thanks for checking on my progress.
