In choosing what to make and how to make it, my organizing principle, to the extent that I have one, is seeking a stand-off between order and chaos.  All time spent in nature is research for my work.  My intention is that the functional work should do its job well.  I believe that a good coffee mug can add a bit of value to your day.

These pieces are all hand-built from slabs of high-temperature, reduction fired porcelain.  They are water-tight (non-porous), food safe, micro-wavable, dishwasher safe.
